The NAMWOLF Trials PAC sponsored a CLE presentation for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Colorado Chapter on May 16 in Denver. The one-hour program, titled “Primer for Successful Litigation Management: 10 Ways Experienced Trial Counsel Can Help Your Company Obtain an Optimal and Efficient Settlement Without Going to Trial,” explained how the best way to settle a case favorably is not by preparing to settle, but by preparing to go to trial.

Cheryl Diaz of Culhane Meadows PLLC and Jennifer Keller of Keller/Anderle LLP, both members of the NAMWOLF Trials PAC, were joined on the panel by in-house counsel Sam Shapiro, assistant general counsel at Vail Resorts, and Maureen “Mo” Watson, vice president and general counsel of CQG, Inc. Jason Wilson of Willenken LLP moderated the panel.

Other NAMWOLF Trials PAC members in attendance at the event were Paul Loh of Willenken LLP, who developed the original content for the presentation, and Ashley Larson and Katie Johnson of Sutton | Booker | P.C., who contributed to the content as it applied to Colorado law.
