Acceleron Law Group, LLP is pleased to announce that Ben Findley has joined the firm as a partner in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ben advises companies on a wide spectrum of transactional legal matters, including technology and software agreements, services agreements, intellectual property and data licenses, and other strategic and corporate transactions. Ben spent more than a decade as in-house counsel in various industries including automotive services, advertising services and technology, cryptocurrency payments, broadcast media and clean technology.
Before joining Acceleron, Ben served as Assistant General Counsel for BitPay, Inc., where he was responsible for the company’s strategic and commercial transactions, product terms and compliance. Previously, he spent a decade with Cox Enterprises and its Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group companies, where he negotiated the full spectrum of commercial and technology transactions, as well as leading and supporting corporate transactions. Such experience included negotiating agreements related to professional and technology services, software licensing and SaaS, procurement, media and advertising, intellectual property licensing, live events, digital media and M&A. Before his time with Cox, Ben worked as technology licensing associate for Georgia Tech Research Corporation’s technology transfer office, and as an attorney with the Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione law firm (now part of Crowell Moring), where he focused on patent prosecution and litigation.
