The Banks Law Firm, P.A. is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina with a satellite office in Columbia, South Carolina. Since 1994, the Firm has provided superior legal services in the areas of administrative law, affordable housing and community economic development law, bankruptcy, business and corporate law, church law, civil litigation, collections, construction law, environmental law, government contracts and procurement, labor and employment law, land use and zoning, legislative representation, nonprofit corporations, public finance, and real estate law.

The Firm was founded on February 1, 1994, and has grown to be North Carolina’s largest minority owned law firm. The Firm represents clients throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, including other areas in the Southeast.  Practice areas for the Firm include civil litigation; commercial real estate, employment law, affordable housing and community economic development law,  FHA insured financing, tax credit financing, municipal corporations, and nonprofit organizations. Each year in June, the Firm closes for two days to provide the volunteers necessary for The Triangle Golf Challenge, The Banks Foundation’s Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. The proceeds from The Triangle Golf Challenge provide down payment assistance for first time home buyers who have matriculated from public assistance to private home ownership and to Communities In Schools to empower kids to stay in school and achieve in life.
