More about NAMWOLF

Benefits of Joining

Referrals

Through our strategic partnerships and initiatives, NAMWOLF can connect corporate counsel with NAMWOLF firms who fit their needs.

Marketing

NAMWOLF produces a variety of nationwide marketing services via materials and correspondence created for corporate counsel. The NAMWOLF database of law firm members is actively used by corporations in submitting RFPs for legal services and selecting local counsel on a variety of matters. Through our events, law firm members have an opportunity to meet and connect with corporate counsel who desire diversity within their outside counsel representation.

Networking

NAMWOLF brings corporate counsel together with minority and women owned law firms at our events,  which offer face-to-face interaction not found at other industry conferences and events. Additionally, corporate counsel who attend our events network with one another and discuss best practices for diversity and inclusion within their legal departments.

Application Criteria and Process

Our goal is to have a blend of the leading minority and women owned law firms, dispersed geographically across the United States, representing a variety of corporate law expertise.  NAMWOLF uses a detailed process to determine law firm admission and this vetting process can take several months.  Law firm candidates must complete an extensive application and screening process before they can be admitted to membership.  Member firms are substantially devoted to the representation of large entity clients.  Therefore, membership will only be offered to firms that devote the substantial portion of their time to, or derive the substantial portion of their revenue from, the representation of major corporate and/or public entities and are not generally adverse to such entities, except in business versus business litigation.
