Reyes Kurson is a top Minority-Certified Law firm. Founding partner Victor Reyes has been recognized as one of only 58 lawyers awarded with the honor of one of “Chicago’s Notable Minority Lawyers” by Crain’s Chicago Business. This award acknowledges influential minority lawyers in Chicago who are leading the legal profession.
Victor continues to be selected yearly as a “Leading Lawyer in Illinois”. This is a special honor as his peers nominate him this award. He is continually chosen and designated as Outstanding in the fields of Governmental, Municipal, Lobbying and Administrative Law.
Managing partner, Amy Kurson, recently received the distinction of “Notable Gen X Leaders in Law”- Crain’s Chicago’s Business. Amy is one of the 121 lawyers chosen from a vast field of Chicago lawyers born between 1964 and 1979. This list includes the top practitioners in town encompassing all areas of law. In a profession known for brutal hours, Amy was recognized in part as one of a small group of women who managed to rise to leadership positions while raising families. Amy was also selected by her peers as a “Leading Lawyer in Illinois”. She was nominated and selected for this special honor for her Outstanding work in the practice areas of Governmental, Municipal, Lobbying and Administrative Law, Land Use and Finance Law.
Our up-and-coming partner, Jennifer Novoselsky, extends her leadership in complex commercial and financial services litigation. Jen has been named Co-Chair of the NAMWOLF Financial Services Litigation Practice Area Committee. She was awarded this important position due in part to her experience representing financial institutions, public and private corporations, broker-dealers and high net worth individuals in wide variety of matters, including securities fraud, antitrust litigation, corporate dissolution, breach of fiduciary duties, business torts, contract disputes and directors’ and officers’ liabilities claims.
Jen has been recognized and selected as a 2019 “Emerging Lawyer” by the Leading Lawyers Network for two practice areas: Commercial Litigation and Federal Regulatory. Less than 2% of lawyers licensed in Illinois have received this distinction, which is granted to attorneys identified by their peers to be among the top lawyers age 40 or under who have proven themselves to be professional, ethical, experienced, of exceptional character and conveyed an outstanding aptitude for the practice of law.
Practice Areas: Legislative, Regulatory, Financial Services (transactional, regulatory and litigation), Commercial Litigation, Public Finance, Corporate, Utilities, and Real Estate and Land Use.
