Our founder, Kelly Burris, has over 30 years of engineering and legal experience. Our office is strategically located in the same building as the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Detroit, Michigan. With this location, we have ready access to Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) hearings, Examiner interviews, prior art Examiner’s Automated Search Tools (EAST and WEST), USPTO tours, and regular USPTO events throughout the year.
